'The Innocence Files' shows a behind-the-scenes look at eight people fighting for justice. In the United States, more than 2,500 wrongly convicted persons have been acquitted in the past three decades. And there are many more people still hoping to clear their name. the documentary takes a closer look at why the journey to justice can be so long and difficult. The series features Innocence Project co-founders and attorneys Barry Scheck and Peter Neufeld. In addition, other experts who fight for justice on behalf of various wrongly convicted people will have their say.
