Henry Lee Lucas is a serial killer convicted of murdering three people, including his own mother. Then Lucas confessed to another 600 murders. Texas police closed a lot of cases, and Lucas was sentenced to death. However, the serial killer lied about most of the murders. Where everyone assumed 600 victims, it soon became apparent that nothing in Lucas's world is as it seems. Journalists and detectives increasingly found errors, discrepancies and impossibilities in the claims and stories of the convicted. But why would Luke lie in such detail about such crimes? And how is it possible that everyone fell for it blindly?
