Docuseries that sheds new light on the notorious 1958 Charles Starkweather and Caril Ann Fugate murder case, in which the teenage couple were charged and convicted of arbitrarily killing 11 victims. The series is told through a stylistic mix of archival and recreated footage and numerous film and television series inspired by the murders. In addition, it re-examines Fugate's guilty verdict, who was 14 years old at the time of the murders, through a modern lens. The role of the media and the legal system's treatment of her are questioned, despite her self-proclaimed innocence.
