Surviving Death season 1

What a nonsense documentary, all afraid to die, that's why the world has thousands of beliefs, a consolation, nice if you believe that but I don't, last breath and done with me, and that's good....

Surviving Death season 1

It starts promising. Starting from people's experiences and then testing it against science (insofar as this is possible). But that first episode is holding up a carrot for a critical ass for what follows. The makers try to build up credit in that first episode to lure that sober ass into the cave of irrationality and anecdotal.

What follows is a double episode of vulgar fantasy. You already know the stories, and most rational people have long disregarded them once they have used their common sense.

The coping mechanism of people with immeasurable grief is used as evidence for life after death. That is very touching and unfair. But in addition, a number of people pass in review who would have been characterized in the past as village idiots, as well as people with too much imagination who are portrayed as reliable sources. And lots of chatty bored housewives. That one too.

The makers' attempt at dissenting voices fails because those dissenting voices may be rare - how many serious self-respecting scientists would devote themselves to empirically impossible science - and in terms of charisma they can't compete with the colorful pro-figures .

If you like to see spooky stories you will love to watch. If you already believe in this, you will only be more confirmed in this belief. But if you want to be convinced of life after death, let this chalice pass you by: it will not convince you.
