Daniel Barban Levin, a student at Sarah Lawrence college, was looking for an apartment in New York City for the summer. Instead, he joined what he now describes as a cult. The story of the cult at Sarah Lawrence, which was led in the early 2010s by Larry Ray, the parent of one of Levin's friends at school, first became public knowledge with a New York Magazine article detailing Ray's reported manipulation and abuses. were described.
