A series with two episodes, but also two faces. The first episode is the most interesting, with the second episode actually contributing little to my feeling. Perhaps because Steve Martin's cabaret past was unknown to me, episode 1 was wonderful; it was more fascinating with more surprises. From zero to hero.

We know his film career. Great films alternated with flops. No real high-flyers anywhere, just mindless films. Not much new seen in episode two.
