Every day there are stories to read and see about people who follow the path of crime. What happens to these people? How long are they locked up and how quickly can they be released? Ooit Vrij is a documentary series in which a number of prisoners in Belgian prisons are followed. The prisoners are followed during their incarceration and during their probation in society. The common thread throughout the series is formed by the conversations of the prisoners with the prison psychologists.
