In Bakersfield, right in the heart of California, things are not always what they seem. A deadly shooting at a hotel leaves the Ramirez family questioning everything they know about their town. Desperate to find out what really happened to their loved one, they soon learn that they are not alone in their tragedy, and they fight for the truth. It is a story full of unexpected twists, corruption and cover-ups.
