Behind every seemingly impossible marvel of modern engineering is a cast of historic pioneers who designed new building techniques, took risks on untested materials and revolutionized their field. Each episode describes how gigantic structures, record-breaking buildings and the world's most advanced ships, trains and airplanes are built and operated using 3D graphics, archives and specially shot footage.
