Glasland season 1

A painfully compelling HUMAN documentary by Lisa Frenkel and Eva de Breed about working in greenhouse horticulture. While the sector is considered a world-class industry, a closer look at employers, migrant workers, and employment agencies in the Westland region reveals a bleak future. Climate change and staff shortages are just two of the challenges. "Glasland" offers a disturbing glimpse behind the scenes, featuring stories like those of the Polish migrant couple Dorota and Daniel. The fact that many employers and employment agencies refused to participate in this production is a warning sign. For Dorota and Daniel, the promised "Glasland" is primarily a path of hope for a decent future.
