Galapagos plot

Liz Bonnin joins a team of researchers on an expedition to the Galapagos Islands. The team will conduct important research to protect the islands and their inhabitants. The team visits an active volcano in search of the elusive pink iguana. A submarine then takes them on the deepest dive ever performed in the Galapagos Islands in search of new species, where they encounter a bizarre ocean giant, the mola, a sunfish. They see playful sea lions and masses of hammerhead sharks. Finally, scientists look at what the future holds for the Galapagos and the human impact on these islands.
