In Equator, we follow BBC reporter Simon Reeve. HE makes a trip around the world along the equator crossing three continents: Africa, Asia and Latin America. It is a 40,000 km journey through regions richly endowed by nature but severely tested by man, with the world's greatest concentration of natural biodiversity as well as human poverty and misery, and political chaos.
