A docuseries about the shocking death of Katie Simpson, a promising young jockey in County Londonderry, Northern Ireland. When 21-year-old Katie died unexpectedly in 2020, the majority of the horse-riding community acknowledged her suicide, but a local journalist questioned the official conclusion, bringing back memories of a previous case she had covered. The case bore striking similarities to Katie's, but the journalist's suspicions focused primarily on Katie's sister's partner, Jonathan Creswell: an influential champion jumper, jockey, and horse trainer. In the series, detectives, Katie's friends and family, and those close to her recount how a secret investigation escalated into a high-stakes murder case with an ending no one expected.
