Deadman's Curse plot

The series revolves around the infamous Curse of Slumach, an Indigenous man of the Katzie First Nations who was hanged in 1891. According to legend, he found a gold vein worth billions of dollars, but on his deathbed, he cursed the location with the words: "Nika memloose, mine memloose" (If I die, the mine dies). Since then, countless fortune seekers have perished in their search for this treasure. Former MMA fighter and gold prospector Kru Williams and young Indigenous explorer Taylor Starr join forces with seasoned legend hunter and mountaineer Adam Palmer to finally solve the mystery of Slumach's lost gold mine.
