In 'The insomniacs' Annick Ruyts investigates why so many people, just like her, sleep badly. She talks about it with experts and fellow sufferers. Together they look for an answer to questions that keep her, and by extension 70% of the Flemish population, awake. Why do we sleep? What is a good night's sleep? What Causes Insomnia? What do people do at night to fall asleep, or just to stay awake? And above all: who is awake at this nocturnal hour, and why?
