Civilizations is an epic series about art, culture and human civilization across six continents, through the ages. More than five hundred works of art from thirty-one countries are shown. The series explores the value and meaning of art, civilization and identity. It examines how human creativity originated and how it developed over the centuries. We see how artists from different cultures shaped people and nature in images, and how civilizations influenced each other in the process
