An excellent, if sometimes rather exhaustive, two-part documentary about the life and career of singer/musician Billy Joel. As is so often the case, the first part is more interesting than the second, partly because little productive work came from Joel after 1990. Fortunately, there are many beautiful and sincere stories from the man himself, and there are enjoyable interviews with fellow musicians and admirers. However, five hours is a bit long; it runs out of steam towards the end.
