Bart De Wever is a top striker in Belgian politics, loved but also hated - but always at least appreciated. But where does that controversy come from? Recording, observing and questioning, Filmmaker Petra De Pauw tries to find out who Bart De Wever really is. Where does his political energy come from and what do almost 25 years of commitment, passion, opposition and praise do to him and his environment? The only thing that was certain in advance was that Bart De Wever was fifty years old. The rest of 2020 was a big question mark at the start. Out of nowhere, corona shook all the cards and 2020 became perhaps the most difficult year of his political life.
