What is it like to be a woman in an American prison? Because these mothers, daughters and sisters are also murderers, drug smugglers and armed robbers. The series paints an intimate and profound picture of the lives of women incarcerated in an American prison. They take a look behind the walls of the Western Massachusetts Regional Women's Correctional Center, which houses some 200 inmates, and explore what it's like to be there.
