A highly entertaining, surprisingly candid documentary in which Charlie Sheen opens up about his illustrious past. He seems to be a bit blunt about certain topics, but he comes across as mostly sincere, delivering his colorful (and often poignant) stories with plenty of humor. The documentary is divided into two 90-minute parts, with the second focusing primarily on his time as the lead actor on the sitcom Two and a Half Men. I found the first part more captivating, but overall, this is a first-class documentary.

A good documentary that offers a fairly candid glimpse into the bizarre life of Charlie Sheen. It's impressive that people who saw him at his worst are also given a voice. This makes the documentary honest and tells the whole story.
In my opinion, some events could have been explored in more depth, and more periods in his post-Two and a Half Men era could have been mentioned. A third episode wouldn't have been out of place in that regard.

An interesting glimpse into the decant lives of some Hollywood stars with whom many of us grew up. A few familiar names of friends with whom Sheen was abusive are mentioned, such as Nicolas Cage and Sean Penn. The accusation of rape is passed over rather quickly. The question is, why would the two Coreys make such a (false) accusation? It's striking, but not entirely incomprehensible, that father Martin and brother Emilio didn't want to participate in this Charlie Sheen show.
