The Tunnel plot
When a prominent French politician is found dead on the border between England and France, detectives Karl Roebuck and Elise Wassermann are sent to investigate on behalf of their countries. The case takes a surreal turn when a shocking discovery is made at the crime scene, forcing the French and British police into an uneasy alliance.

The only difference with Bron/The Bridge is a different language and different actors. Furthermore, this story is exactly the same as the Danish/Swedish equivalent. So yes Elise also has autism and yes Karl can't hide his extramarital affairs .
So the story is fine, originality is hard to find.
