The Red Line plot

The Red Line follows three very different Chicago families as they journey towards hope and healing after a tragedy that makes them all reflect on the influence of race. Daniel Calder is a history teacher who, along with his daughter Jira, mourns the death of his wife, an African-American doctor who was shot, while unarmed, by a white cop. Tia Young searches for information about the shooting, Tia's husband, Ethan Young, warns her to contact Jira. Police officer Paul Evans must face the reality of his actions and the fatal shooting of an innocent man and worries about his fate.
