Sorjonen plot

Detective Inspector Karl Sorjonen is one of the most respected officers in the Finnish bureau. When his wife recovers from brain cancer, Sorjonen decides to move his family to a small village called Lappeenranta. This village borders Russia and is the perfect location to start a new life. In reality, life is not so peaceful at all in Lappeenranta. Murders, rapes, kidnappings, prostitution, drug trafficking and dogfights turn Karl Sorjonen's life upside down forever.

Season 3 doesn't get any less complex. In addition to some standalone stories, just about all of the outstanding lines from the first two seasons come together in this third season. And that's also the problem: if you haven't seen the first two seasons or it's been too long, then you can't follow the third season in terms of the continuous storylines. I thought the level was equal to that of the first two seasons, the cast remained fine, the vagueness of season 2 was extended to this third season in the form of Sorjonen's deceased wife and as far as the plot is concerned I liked the role of the bitchy daughter a little too overbearing.
