The name Russians is Bargoens for detective. The emphasis is on the personality of the detective handling the case. Motives and doubts about choices that the main characters have to make are the starting point. The detectives are people of flesh and blood, who have to survive in a sometimes cruel and bizarre world. The line between their professional and private lives is not always clear.
