Police de Caractères plot
Thomas Letellier, the boss of a large cannery in the north of France, is murdered in his factory. Captain Louise Poquelin, a born northerner and overworked single mother, leads the investigation. She does this together with her new partner, Captain Etienne de Beaumont, an agent of aristocratic origin who has returned to his native region. The two form an explosive tandem, which will nevertheless prove to be extremely effective.
