Don Eppes is an FBI agent, where he has to deal with the most diverse crime cases. His team includes Agent Terry Lake and Agent David Sinclair. In some cases, he calls on his younger brother Charlie, who is a math genius. Charlie is the youngest professor at the prestigious CalSci University, where he is close friends with his mentor Professor Larry Fleinhardt. Charlie still lives with their recently widowed father Alan.
