Former city cop Hauke Jacobs wants to start over as a vet in the sleepy Baltic town of Schwanitz. Unfortunately, mysterious crimes thwart his plans again and again - much to the delight of the endearing policewoman Lona Vogt and the investigative veterinary assistant Jule Christiansen.
