Nicola Gobbo had been Melbourne's underworld advocate since the late 1990s and enjoyed the trust of the gangsters. Nicola knew their secrets, but they didn't know hers. In addition to being a lawyer, she was also a police informant. She defended her clients in court while simultaneously betraying them to the police.
