Nikolas Heldt is more human as a researcher and more normal as a human than you would expect from a hero, let alone a superhero. He's a detective inspector in Bochum, casual and sometimes quite cool. But he's not an alien with superpowers, he's not wearing a mask or a full-body costume in bright colors. The answer to the question, when someone is a hero, depends on how often in life the perspective is.
