Victims of stalking are assisted in various ways. If necessary, it is first investigated who the stalker is. Footage is then collected as evidence, for example by making recordings with hidden cameras in and around the victim's house. Online and telephone conversations are often also recorded and saved as evidence. When enough evidence has been gathered, the stalker is sought out to confront them. Sometimes this happens in collaboration with the police, who can then immediately arrest the perpetrator and take them to the police station.
