Started out pretty good and very nice there on that island, but the storyline that that agent turns out to be exactly the man Jóhanna had fled from... big downer, because that's what the whole series is about must build. And the feminist approach is a bit too thick.

Furthermore, the combination of adventure / crime / drama is quite entertaining, but that the demented man at first sees a man for a seal but in the end manages to hit the bad guy exactly is also a bit too much of a good thing . Acting mostly okay.

1.5*.

The Flatey Enigma takes up about a quarter of this miniseries and the "interesting relationships" between the various characters takes up the rest of the time. This and the negatives indicated by my predecessors was what disappointed me. But for the rest, especially in terms of setting and plot, I thought this was quite worth watching. Great length to keep you interested until the predictable end. In terms of cast, the Danish Søren Malling stood out with his striking head (Professor Lund), unfortunately a bit too short. The choice for Stefán Hallur Stefánsson (Brynjar) could not have been better.
