Die Chefin plot

Chief Inspector Vera Lanz is in charge of the Homicide Division. She is widowed and raises her daughter Zoe alone, supported by her father-in-law (and former police officer) Georg Lanz. Her team consists of Jan Trumpeter, Paul Böhmer and later also Maximilian Murnau. In addition to handling ongoing investigations, Vera Lanz also tries to solve the murder of her husband and colleague Andreas Lanz. She suspects prosecutor Berger (with whom she had an affair) and her colleague Böhmer of being connected to the case.
