De Ridder plot

The series revolves around Helena De Ridder. She is a lawyer, but changes course and becomes a public prosecutor. The prosecutor is concerned about that. Is she actually giving up her well-paid job to serve society, as she claims, or is she actually engaged in a personal crusade? The series is set at the court of Ghent. Each episode deals with a new file from the indictment, through the court hearing to the verdict, from the point of view of the Public Prosecution Service.

De Ridder season 1

Think it's worth it. I especially think Clara Cleymans, Johan Helenberg, Michael Pas and Dirk Van Dijk play excellently.

De Ridder season 1

The series now looks quite dated. Now that doesn't have to be a problem as long as it is very well put together. For me, however, the series lacked momentum and I thought it was all quite well-behaved despite the often serious problems that come up. The lead actress was still okay, but all the other characters were very uninteresting and often annoying.

De Ridder season 1

Unrealistic, unbelievable, exaggerated, De Ridder is it all for me & then some. Clara Cleymans still saves what can be saved, but she too does not escape the cliché formation and the lack of inspiration on the part of the makers. Is rated quite highly in Flanders for sure, but this is really not for me.
