The series now looks quite dated. Now that doesn't have to be a problem as long as it is very well put together. For me, however, the series lacked momentum and I thought it was all quite well-behaved despite the often serious problems that come up. The lead actress was still okay, but all the other characters were very uninteresting and often annoying.

Unrealistic, unbelievable, exaggerated, De Ridder is it all for me & then some. Clara Cleymans still saves what can be saved, but she too does not escape the cliché formation and the lack of inspiration on the part of the makers. Is rated quite highly in Flanders for sure, but this is really not for me.
