Crossing Jordan plot

Forensic pathologist Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh is extremely intelligent, and her approach to solving murders is unconventional and obsessive. The driving force behind her unorthodox detective work is one unsolved crime: the murder of her mother. After she left years ago, she now returns to Boston. She gets the chance to join the quirky Dr. Garret Macy to work with a group of eccentric colleagues: Dr. Mahesh Vijayaraghavensatanaryanamurthy (Bug for the friends), receptionist Lily Lebowski and Briton Nigel Townsend. Her father Max Cavanaugh also regains an important place in her life.
