Criminal Record plot
Contemporary London. I read somewhere, good performances from Capaldi and Jumbo, but to put it in English it is an uninspired drama. I completely agree, this is definitely not the strongest British drama. The dialogues are certainly not great, I expected a lot from this but it was so disappointing....

The inexperienced but driven DS June Lenker (Cush Jumbo - The Beast Must Die, The Good Fight) and veteran DCI Daniel Hegarty (Peter Capaldi) make it a fascinating duel at the cutting edge. Criminal Record is an excellent thriller drama about racism, injustice and inequality. Nowhere nail-bitingly exciting, but smooth and well-made British craftsmanship.
