Ashes to Ashes plot

Ashes to Ashes is set in the early 1980s. 35-year-old policewoman Alex Drake is shot and ended up in 1981. She helps solve murder cases with the resources of the time but with the knowledge of 2008. Between assignments, Alex is reminded via television and computer that she is actually in a coma and that the doctors give her little chance.
