56 Days plot

56 days ago, Ciara and Oliver met in a supermarket queue in Dublin, the same week that Covid-19 reached Irish shores. Thirty-five days ago, as the lockdown threatened to tear them apart, Oliver suggested Ciara move in with him. She saw a unique opportunity to foster a new relationship without the pressure of scrutiny from family and friends. He saw it as a chance to hide who—and what—he really is. In the present day, detectives arrived at Oliver's apartment and discovered a decomposing body inside. Will they be able to determine what really happened, or did the lockdown provide someone with the opportunity to commit the perfect crime?

Deze serie begint zeer veelbelovend, maar al na de eerste aflevering begrijp je dat dit een lange vervelende zit gaat worden. De chemie tussen de twee hoofdrolspelers is er totaal niet, en ergens word er gesproken van houterig acteren, waar ik het volledig mee eens ben. Oppervlakkig, vervelend, en zeker een zeer zwakke Cameron. Ik kan de 1 op 4 van Ebert zeer goed begrijpen. De zoveelste flauwe serie van prime, maar ja we klagen niet, voor 2,99 mag je niet teveel verwachten... De 56 dagen duren er precies 560..

This series starts off very promising, but after the first episode you realize that this is going to be a long, boring sit.

The chemistry between the two leads is completely non-existent, and somewhere there is talk of wooden acting, which I completely agree with.

Superficial, annoying, and certainly a very weak Cameron. I can certainly understand Ebert's 1 out of 4.

Yet another lackluster Prime series, but hey, we're not complaining. For €2.99, you can't expect too much...

The 56 days last exactly 560..
