The Young Ones plot

The Young Ones is a British sitcom about four male college students living in one house. The program combines satire, absurd humor, anarchy, skits and musical performances. The series was notable for its violent humor, especially at that time: the housemates regularly beat each other with things within reach. Striking about the series are the often surrealistic interludes. Occasionally other actors or talking animals or objects appear that had nothing to do with the rest of the plot. A band also appeared in the middle of each episode, again for no apparent reason.
