The Queen's Umbrella plot
During the Joseon dynasty, Queen Im Hwa-ryeong is supposed to act with grace and dignity, but she has sons who are troublemakers. In the palace, they only give the royal family a headache. They are about to be transformed into real crown princes, but the picky, sensitive and short-tempered queen cannot apply the usual protocols and struggles with parenting. Because of this, she sometimes lets her pride go and swears in public. While Hwa-ryeong tries to keep her sons in check, her competitors try to take the throne.
