The Middle plot

Who else is waiting for athletes, movie stars or politicians? The real heroes are parents. Take Frankie and Mike from The Middle. They don't have it wide and they aren't always easy either. Frankie (Patricia Heaton, of Everybody loves Raymond), a multitasking mother who puts her family first, works at a car dealership, where she is the company's worst salesperson. Eldest son Axl - named after Guns 'n' Roses, who played an important role during his conception - is a typical rebellious teenager, who prefers to walk around in his underpants all day. Daughter Sue is a braces who struggles with enormous insecurity, and son Brick, the youngest of the family at seven, is very smart for his age, but his social skills, on the other hand, are barely developed. Everyone in the family fights for attention, but in the end, thanks to their humor and love, they always find each other somewhere 'in the middle'.
