The Letdown plot

In The Letdown we follow Audrey, who has just become a mother to Stevie. She tries to approach motherhood positively, but it is difficult. Constantly tired of the interrupted nights, she suffers from leaky breasts, social isolation, and the urge to be the best mother. Her husband Jeremy tries his best, but doesn't really know what to do with Stevie. Her mother Verity is too preoccupied with herself and his parents Gene and Carol mean well, but they make her feel awful.
