Spitting Image plot

This satirical series featured caricature puppets of the British royal family (such as Elizabeth II, Lady Diana, Prince Charles) and politicians such as Ronald Reagan, Mikhail Gorbachev, Robert Mugabe, Muammar al-Qadhafi and Ruhollah Khomeini. In addition to politicians, TV figures, pop stars, sports personalities and Hollywood actors were also targeted, such as Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Michael Jackson, Jack Nicholson, Madonna, Sylvester Stallone, Bob Geldof, Michael Caine, Laurence Olivier, Marlon Brando , John McEnroe, Leonard Nimoy, Eric Cantona and Luciano Pavarotti.
