Rock & Chips plot
Joan Trotter is trapped in an unhappy marriage with the work-shy Reg. Together they have a sixteen-year-old son Derek who also doesn't quite know what he really wants to do with his life. Joan's life is turned upside down when charming bank robber Freddie Robdal returns to Pechham. The mutual relationships between all the characters are central to Rock & Chips.
