Rab C. Nesbitt is a constantly drunk man who lives with his unhappy wife Mary and their two sons in Govan, Glasgow, Scotland. Rab prefers to spend his days drinking with his good friend Jamesie Cotter, a notorious womanizer. In addition to drinking, Rab likes to impose his vision of life on everyone and he regularly ends up in trouble.
