One Foot in the Grave plot

Victor Meldrew is an elderly man with a short fuse, who also often has bad luck. He can't handle stupid people very well, but unfortunately encounters them regularly. When he is forced to take early retirement, he suddenly finds himself with plenty of time to get annoyed by these things. Victor is married to Margaret. She struggles to cope with his thundering sermons to the world and their misfortune.
