Monk season 1

Monk is just a fun series.
In my opinion, a mix of "Murder she wrote" and a police series.
The neurotic stuff is gradually deepened as the series progresses. 400+ phobias (including fear of contamination, fear of heights), and obsessive-compulsive disorders make Adrian Monk a man you sympathize with (at least I do)

Each episode is a separate story and contains a crime (usually murder) and through slapstick-like comic coincidences, Monk eventually comes to the conclusion who the perpetrator is. "I know how he did it" and "He's the guy" are his one-liners.
All this with the help of his assistant Melanie Teeger (Sharona in the first seasons, she returns later) and the agents Stotellmeyer and Disher.
Recurring roles include his psychiatrist Kroger, fellow patient Krenshaw, his brother Ambrose and Melanie's daughter Julie.
