Kald Mig Far plot
Emil, non-confrontational, and Viktor, confident, are friends for life. They have always done everything together and become business partners in starting a sustainable catering company. Everything changes when Emil discovers that Viktor is dating his mother, Helle. Emil struggles to accept the situation, but to avoid conflict, he buries his feelings and accepts the incredibly uncomfortable situation. When Viktor and Emil's mother decide to move in together and casually start talking about starting a new family, Emil becomes increasingly uncomfortable and his acceptance of the new couple is stretched to the limit.

Because of all the bland misery in the first episodes of the Danish relationship drama Call Me Dad, there seems to be too little depth to stick. But the six-part Call Me Dad gains more convincing power. The leading role is played by naive good guy Emil (Alex Høgh Andersen - Vikings, Those Who Kill), who, just like the series itself, ultimately dares to tell it like it is.
