Jam & Jerusalem plot

Jam & Jerusalem is a British comedy television series about a typical British town where all people know each other. The local women's guild values noble values, but mainly comes together for a nice game of gossip. Only the doctor's wife Sal Vine does not want to become a member, because the activities of the club seem too small for her. When one day her husband unexpectedly dies of a heart attack, things take a different course.
