Happiness plot

Charlie was until recently a musical director on Broadway, but due to circumstances he is forced to return to Tauranga, his hometown in New Zealand. His mother makes sure he becomes a member of the local theater company. Charlie would like to go back to the United States, but because he has lost his job as a director, he is no longer able to get a visa.
