God's Favorite Idiot plot

The IT specialist Clark Thompson has found his great love in colleague Amily. When he is struck by lightning at exactly that moment and suddenly shows a strange glow, his surroundings begin to suspect that he has been unsuspectingly chosen by God, possibly to prevent the Apocalypse. However, the sweet Clark doesn't seem like the type God would choose to fight evil. He must ask his friends for help to spread the Word and save the world.
